Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)

EU Directive 2011/65, and similarly adopted legislation in countries outside the EU, restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in “electronic devices or accessory products” related to electrical equipment. KYZEN cleaning chemistries are not classified as electronic devices or accessory products. Furthermore, most KYZEN cleaning chemistries are rinsed clean during precision cleaning processes and are not a component of any final electronic assembly. As such, KYZEN cleaning chemistries do not fall under the scope of EU Directive 2011/65 and KYZEN has no legal or regulatory requirement to provide declarations or third-party verification of compliance to EU Directive 2011/65. However, KYZEN makes the following voluntary declarations:

KYZEN cleaning chemistries DO NOT CONTAIN, in any amount,
substances prohibited or restricted by EU Directive 2011/65,
or by similarly adopted legislation in countries outside the EU.
