International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
“ITAR” means the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, as amended, which are promulgated and implemented by Department of State and designed to regulate items on the U.S. Munitions List, including Defense Articles and Defense Services and related Technical Data. Pursuant to ITAR 22 C.F.R § 121.1(a), any company who engages in the United States in the business of either manufacturing or exporting defense articles or furnishing defense services must register with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) or claim exemption from registration (22 C.F.R § 121.1(b)).
ALL KYZEN products are “ITAR-Free” and are therefore not included on the U.S. Munitions List.
KYZEN Corporation provides only non-manufacturing services and is therefore not required to register with the DDTC.
