NASHVILLE — October 2018 — KYZEN is proud to announce that it is sponsoring the Women’s Connection Reception to be held at SMTA International on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 at 5 p.m. at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. This is the sixth year in a row that KYZEN has sponsored this event in support of women in science.
This free event has grown over the years to include all female leaders in the electronic manufacturing industry across all professional positions, from engineers, to production, to marketing and administrative. It started very simply as an event where women in electronics could get together, network and share experiences in an informal and enjoyable way.
This year, everyone is invited to get inspired by speakers from Celestica, Rochester Institute of Technology, Ross Consulting, Plexus and more. This will be held on Monday afternoon from 1:30-3 p.m. A panel discussion will follow at 3:30 p.m. where panelists will share their unique stories on what motivated them to choose a career in engineering, mentorship and their contributions in advancing careers of women.
All women in the electronics manufacturing industry are invited and encouraged to come and enjoy this special reception. Socialize with peers, be inspired by their experiences and expertise navigating this male-dominated industry, and have some fun.
